Waikato Bedding has been manufacturing beds in Hamilton for over 30 years. We have a large range of different models available including Bonnell springs, Pocket springs and Latex mattresses. We also custom make beds to specific requirements eg for caravans, boats, horse floats, antique bed frames and mobile homes. Call us first when looking for a new mattress or bed.
Our Bonnell Spring Beds
This system is the tried and tested its a Bonnell spring in which the springs are all connected together. These beds can be firmer and keep your body in a straighter position, also more cost effective depending on your needs. Great for spare rooms, teenagers or people who love a firmer bed. With our mattresses we can add extra layers in order to make the bed firmer or softer. We use thick layers of wool in our wool top mattress, and make comfortable pillow tops too.
Our Pocket Spring beds
The pocket spring system uses individually wrapped spring systems which gives great benefits of minimal partner disturbance and zoned support these are used for people who have bad back, shoulder and hip pains; this spring system contours to the body and gives each specific region of your body support where needed! We use different foam layers to incorporate a luxurious sleep whether it be a firm or soft bed by using deluxe products such as Latex and Memory foam or Memory foam gel along with wool to create a relaxing nights sleep
Our Latex beds
Latex Mattress's are becoming increasingly popular as they do not use a spring system and therefore have little to no partner disturbance, there is very little movement and then makes it a firmer mattress that breathes as latex is 100% natural and environmentally friendly. It is non-allergenic and is dust free which is great for people who have asthma and severe hay fever.
Our Foam Squabs / beds
We make foam squabs with different densities to give different feels for a mattress or squab these are generally used for motorhomes/caravans or futon couches. we have a large range that we can make and we suggest coming in so that you can try out different options to get the best fit for you.
